Happy snow day friends! I love snow day fun but I am most definitely not looking forward to the polar vortex heading our way tomorrow. Seriously, it’s supposed to be a high of 16 where we live. My two year old isn’t a fan of playing in the snow so we played with play-doh, watched Frozen, drank hot (lol warm) chocolate and made SNOW DAY ICE CREAM! It’s so easy and she loved it. Heres what you need to make this fun treat;
- About 6-8 cups Fresh Snow
- 1 Cup Milk
- 1/3 Cup Sugar
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- A Pinch Salt
In a small bowl whisk together, milk, sugar, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt until completely dissolved. Then fold in the snow! Eat immediately because it melts quick! Your kids and husband will love it…
Now I’m over the snow and ready for spring because if I have to watch one more episode of Puppy Dog Pals stuck in this house I’m going to lose my mind.

My kids used to love to make snow ice cream! Our recipe was a little difference, but I like yours better because everyone always has those staple ingredients on hand. Just remember to get your snow off the tops of bushes and other items like patio tables so that it’s as clean as possible.

I never even knew snow icecream was a thing! What a cute idea!! I don’t care for the snow now, but definitely would have enjoyed this recipe as a child! 🙂
