Non-Toxic Pudding Dough

This is a super fun recipe we found a long time ago, it’s kind of a mix between play-doh and slime. It’s non-toxic because it’s food based- not recommended for eating though! You might already have all of these ingredients on hand- which is perfect for quarantine.

IMG_2284Ingredients:

1/4 cup of Jello Pudding (any flavor!)

1 1/4 cup of corn starch  (add more as needed possibly up to 1 1/2cup)

1/3 warm water

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a bowl adding the corn starch a 1/2 a cup at a time.
  2. Mix with a spoon until you no longer can.
  3. kneed dough until a play-doh like consistency forms, about 5 minutes

With only three ingredients and only three steps this is a fun rainy day activity to add to your bag of tricks during this time home with your kids!

Note: This recipe doesn’t keep it’s shelf life for long like play-doh does because it’s food based. You can keep it in the refrigerator for a few play uses, adding slightly more water when it gets too dry.
